This 12-fiber multimode OM4 MPO/MTP gender-changing kit converts a male (pins) connector to female (no-pins) — useful when connecting to cassettes or hardware that already includes a male connector. Works with both OM3 and OM4 multimode cabling.
About the cable: 3mm plenum-rated (OFNP) jacket, constructed of 12 strands of 50/125 micron multimode OM4 fiber. Typical insertion loss is under 0.30 dB, with return loss above 35 dB. Every unit is factory tested.
About the coupler: provides a precise, key-up/key-down coupling between a female and male MPO or MTP connector.
